  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment or a nonstick silicone baking mat.
  2. Using a mixer (or not) cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add the corn syrup, egg, vanilla and lemon extracts, and mix well.
  4. In another large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sprinkles.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Use a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and roll it into balls.
  7. Place them on the prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Pro tip! Crinkle your parchment paper before you put it on for better shape holding.
  8. OPTIONAL! if you do not care about getting sick, you can taste your raw dough, don't blame us if you get sick though because you can get sick from doing this.
  9. Bake for about 10 minutes and then check. After that keep baking until the edges are just starting to turn golden brown, being cautious not to overcook.
  10. Cool on the baking pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
