Beef with Bok Choy

Based loosely off of the recipe linked here.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar, cornstarch, and ginger. Pour the liquid over the sliced meat in a bowl and toss with hands. Set aside.
  2. Start your rice cooking
  3. After meat is marinated for a bit, heat oil on the skillet, cook the beef (while adding most of the scallions) over very hot heat, but don't burn it!
  4. Brown it and cook 'till it's cooked. Every pan is different and every burner is different. You may need to cook the meat in a couple batches depending on the size of your pan.
  5. Put the meat on a separate plate.
  6. Stick bok choy in the pan in whatever sauce remains 'till it's wilted a bit. Medium heat.
  7. Add the beef back in and stir.
  8. Serve with rice

Enjoy!
